Helping young people stay in school
The Greenhouse basketball programme at Bacon's College is having a positive impact in almost all areas of a young person's life.
Research shows academic achievement is greater, homework scores have improved, attendance is higher and their overall effort at school has increased over a period of two years in comparison with a control group of students not on the programme.
Daily Telegraph journalist Jim White paid a visit to the school in South London to find out how basketball is helping young people stay in school.
