Undertaken at Southwark’s City of London Academy (CoLA), this in-depth case study of Greenhouse basketball participants shows that academic performance has risen and poor behaviour reports fallen, with teachers reporting that participants have gained better control of their emotions – especially anger – while accepting discipline in situations where once before they would not.
