“I joined Greenhouse’s drama programme when I started secondary school. I looked young for my age, was bullied and wasn’t very self confident, but being on stage allowed me to play a different character and step out of reality. Drama has given me motivation and confidence. My coaches have been encouraging and supportive and have helped me become an associate at the Lyric Theatre.”
Greenhouse White City Youth Theatre is in the heart of White City Estate. It encourages local young people to try their hand at drama, from performing classic plays to devising their own pieces under the guidance of theatre professionals. The programme gives young people the chance to experience theatre and develop their life skills whilst making friends.
