“I joined Greenhouse because I had nothing better to do. I got into terrible fights at school but drama helped build my confidence and do better at school. I could step out of reality and that helped me calm down. Coaches Mel and Lucy have been really supportive, they’ve pushed me and I now want to make something of my life and I’m sure drama will be part of that.
Greenhouse White City Youth Theatre is in the heart of White City Estate. It encourages local young people to try their hand at drama, from performing classic plays to devising their own pieces under the guidance of theatre professionals. The programme gives young people the chance to experience theatre and develop their life skills whilst making friends.
