Payroll giving

A gift of £10 per month costs you £7.80 if you pay the basic rate of tax, or £6 if you pay the higher rate of tax.

Payroll giving means the money you donate comes out of your salary before it is taxed, so your contribution is worth more because the money you would have given to the Inland Revenue comes to us instead.

Your Pledge to Greenhouse (gross) Cost to you @ 22% tax (net) Cost to you @ 40% tax (net)
£5.00 £3.90 £3.00
£10.00 £7.80 £6.00
£50.00 £39.00 £30.00

If your company has a Payroll Giving scheme, simply download our Payroll Giving form. Fill it in and return to your Payroll department or to our Payroll Giving team. We’ll do the rest!

If you think your company might not have a Payroll Giving scheme, contact our payroll giving team and we’ll get in touch with your company to let them know about the great benefits of setting up a scheme.
