Greenhouse is committed to safeguarding children in sport and physical activity and we take young people’s welfare very seriously.
Their safety and well being is at the heart of everything we do and we work hard to ensure best practice is followed across the charity.
We have a clear ‘Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy’ which outlines good practice guidelines, our code of conduct, and gives guidance on abuse, photography, communication etc.
This policy extends to all our partner organisations and we work with them to ensure a consistent child protection policy operates across all programmes.
You can view and download our policy below and you can follow links to briefing documents from the Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU).
The CPSU is a partnership between the NSPCC and Sport England, Northern Ireland and Wales. It works with sports bodies and organisations to help them minimise the risk of child abuse during sporting activity.
